The Next Generation Board (NGB) is a group of enthusiastic young professionals committed to helping community members in need. For over a decade, the dedicated members of this associate board haveserved as ambassadors of La Casa Norte’s mission through fundraising, networking, volunteerism, and advocacy.

In 2024, with 65 attendees, the NGB raised $7,000 in support of youth and families experiencing homelessness in disinvested Chicago communities.

Yes. All NGB members are required to:

• Commit to a minimum of two years as a member.

• Serve on an NGB committee (Membership, Signature Event, or Social).

• Attend all NGB meetings, which take place the 2nd Tuesday of every other month.

• Leverage your network to fundraise or personally contribute $300 to support LCN’s mission. 

• Attend the NGB’s annual fundraisers. 

• Serve as an LCN ambassador in the community by increasing awareness and excitement for the organization.
